Some pictures from our trip to Nashville! Such a cool place with a ton of live music and places to see.
We only stayed for one night but would definitely go again in the future for a longer period of time. Our one bedroom Airbnb was just a 10 minute drive from downtown Nashville, very convenient!
We had dinner at Rock Bottom, although I would want to try a different restaurant in the future but all of them were full! We visited on a Monday night in June and there was a significant number of people. Depending what day of the week you visit, I would even recommend getting dinner outside of downtown before going for the bars so you’re not starving - just because of how crowded it gets.
We saw the city from the rooftop of The Stage, a highlight for me. There was a live band playing and a bar to enjoy drinks up there. The weather was beautiful; we could see the crowded street and people shuffling in and out of all the bars below us.
The live music from Honky Tonk Central was the most exciting part. Loud, live rock music and musicians rocking out on top of the bars. The whole place was full of singing, drinking country lovers. We passed by this bar at lunchtime the next day and it was so quiet, like a completely different place.
In the morning we had breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe - highly recommended. Being first-timers we got free beignets! My husband got a mug to take home with the cafe logo on it he was so pleased. I ordered the kids meal with chocolate chip pancakes, a lemon blueberry mimosa, and he got a lobster omelette.
To end our Nashville visit we went to see the Parthenon. The building was so large, standing next to the columns was a cool experience. We walked around the large pond near the Parthenon and enjoyed the park before beginning our drive to Georgia.
Overall, Nashville is such a fun and wild place, we’re so happy we went!
