Habit trackers I'm working on
This has been a season of grinding and pushing through. Within this I think I've lost a bit of my identity and misplaced it elsewhere (in my work). Here I talk about the purpose behind these new habit trackers, what I'm working through, and what I'm looking forward to. Let me know if it is helpful or resonates with you! God will fight for you, you need only be still
I wrote this over summer when I was just starting to meet new people in a new state and finding my bearings. I'd love to say that I found them, but I've not. I'm still working through this and in effort to remind myself what I learned over summer, I pulled out my notes to find this quote. "God will fight for you, you need only be still." This is difficult for me to comprehend in the season. I feel like I'm constantly fighting where I'm at. I'm not feeling settled, nor at home

How I’m integrating photography back into my life
I've been wondering how to feel more like myself lately. I've been wrapped up in work and running the home, I started feeling like I was doing nothing for me. Obviously working and helping our home run smoothly both benefit me, but it's not creative and it's not "fun". I needed to bring back the things I used to do for no reason, just because I felt like it. I heard my coach, Sam Laura Brown, say she did a "self trust experiment" in the past and she started with a month of cl

Meals
I try to stick to the same meals each month to save time and money. Below are my favorites because I just throw the ingredients together and I can't really mess it up! They also don't have a lot of components and I can clearly see what I'm making which is so helpful when my brain is prioritizing other things. Spaghetti Spaghetti, zucchini, onion, beef, sauce Chicken Fried Rice Rice, chicken, onion, garlic, peas, carrots, soy sauce BBQ Chicken Pizza Pizza crust, white sauce, m

Biloxi, Mississippi
Biloxi was beautiful! Such a pretty beach and cool vibe at the restaurants. We just stayed for one night and it was lovely. Our Airbnb was a short drive from a row of restaurants on the white sandy beach. We loved the bed and all the amenities; it was super convenient to be able to do a load of laundry while we were there. We ate at Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurant . The service was great but I would say this restaurant is known more for their drinks rather than their

Nashville, Tennessee
Some pictures from our trip to Nashville! Such a cool place with a ton of live music and places to see. We only stayed for one night but would definitely go again in the future for a longer period of time. Our one bedroom Airbnb was just a 10 minute drive from downtown Nashville, very convenient! We had dinner at Rock Bottom , although I would want to try a different restaurant in the future but all of them were full! We visited on a Monday night in June and there was a sign

Moving From Maryland to California
426 days in Maryland. I had a lot of different emotions about leaving - stressed because everything was changing, sad because we made so many memories there, excitement for our cross country road trip, and blessed to be able to start this incredible new journey in California. The movers, Jim & Marvin with Stewart Moving & Storage , came and packed up our whole apartment; they did an excellent job. The apartment was bare, echo-y, and we had a lot of spare time! I felt conten

How I Schedule My Day
Scheduling my day in detail has been such a helpful tool in my life & business! I can confidently say I am more productive each day with a schedule than when I was just following a long to-do list. It's so freeing not having to decide what task I'm going to do next, at what time or for how long. I feel like I am more relaxed even! I put more effort in when I do a task because I can always see the "light at the end of the tunnel" [my break], and I choose to stick it out for th

Everyday Moisturizer For Dry Skin
I want to share about this moisturizer I’ve been using for 2 months because maybe like me, you’ve been looking for a good moisturizer that will help your dry skin. I have very dry skin so when I say moisturizer is my everyday hero, I mean it. My dry skin can sometimes feel very tight & it's hard to concentrate or relax when it feels so dried out [like SpongeBob without any water]. There are even times it can feel flakey [not a fan]. So needless to say having the right moist

Make Your Lashes Everything You Want Them To Be
At the end of the day, our lashes are a huge part of our feminine features. Eyelashes add protection, definition, contrast, and femininity to our eyes. Our lashes can add a powerful statement to any look, and there’s so many ways to create it - no matter if you’re looking for all-natural, everyday, or dramatic - your lashes can do the job. In this article, I’m going to share all the ways that you can make your lashes become everything you want them to be - and in turn, bring

Sailing Trip In Annapolis
We went to Annapolis for the day! Just an hour away from our place in Belcamp MD, we decided to go for the whole day and celebrate my husband's birthday. FIRST STOP: SHIRLEY'S Our first stop was brunch at Shirley's in Annapolis. He got a huge omelet and I got massive chocolate chip pancakes [which I should’ve ordered as a half order]. The mimosas were fabulous and all the servers were really kind. This restaurant was so awesome, it's become one of our top favorite places to
